Meadow Ridge Campground

Within White River National Forest, Meadow Ridge Campground provides a Forest Service-managed retreat for smaller RVs and tent campers during its June through November season. The access road requires slow, careful driving due to rough conditions, but remains manageable for most vehicles.

The campground features vault toilets, water spigots distributed throughout the site, and allows campfires with available firewood. Cell service reaches the area, and alcohol is permitted, though pets are not allowed. Higher elevation and heavy tree cover keep temperatures cool even during midsummer visits. A hiking trail connects directly to a nearby lake, while the forested setting attracts various wildlife species that campers can observe from their sites. For those wanting additional amenities, Meadow Lake Campground sits just half a mile northwest.

Stunning Secluded Campground

If you’re looking for a quiet, beautiful spot-this is it! Great for smaller units and tent campers. The road leading towards the campground is a bit rough, but if you take it slow, it’s a breeze. The camp hosts are quite welcoming and informative. There are no utilities however, there are several water spigots throughout the small campground. Two vault toilets. The hiking trail is gorgeous and takes you to the beautiful lake. The water and rocks are gorgeous! We enjoyed sitting around the fire pit watching the wildlife. As this is in higher elevation and well shaded, it was nice and cool during our mid summer visit.
