Designated trailhead with access to trails into Troublesome Basin roadless area. No developed facilities. Trailhead is small and camping is allowed, but there is only room for a party or two with trailers. Camping opportunities along the trail are numerous, especially at higher elevations. Trailhead is located at interface of sagebrush/aspen/conifer forest area. Timberline is at approximately 10,500 feet elevation. This area is managed by the Parks Ranger District.

Directions
Directions Form Walden: Drive west on Hwy 14 for approximately 16 miles. Turn left on County Road 11. Bear right in one mile on CR 11, then bear left still on CR 11 when it forks with CR11A. Drive approximately 7 miles to the Forest Boundary where the road will turn into Forest Road 700. Drive approximately another 6 miles to the Hyannis Trailhead located on the right hand side.
