Right off Highway 91 in White River National Forest near Copper Mountain, this free dispersed pullout sits close enough to the road that traffic noise is a consistent factor, with trucks audible even from the treeline. The forested flat area near the river provides some buffer from the highway. In April, snow and ice can cover the access area, so traction devices may be necessary. RVs are limited to 25 feet. Tenmile Creek Dispersed sits just 0.1 miles northeast for campers wanting a comparable free site with more distance from the road.
