Description
Above Tenmile Creek in the White River National Forest, this large flat pullout sits at around 10,000 feet in the mountain corridor between Copper Mountain and Fremont Pass, with a waterfall visible across the road and a stream audible below the embankment. Highway traffic is a consistent presence through the day and tapers off late at night. It works best as a convenient overnight base for exploring Copper Mountain and the surrounding high country — not a backcountry retreat, but flat, accessible, and consistently open through the summer season.
