Heart Lake Resevoir Dispersed Camping

Heart lake, and the surrounding areas, are truely a wonderful place to stay. Only available for a few months each year. Most camp sites are above 10,300ft, and it often rains every day. Resulting in air is clean and pure. This is pure off grid camping, there are no amenities out here. It’s an 2 hour drive up coffee pot road to get here. Most SUV should have no issue making it up the switch backs. Some years the roads are badly washed out.
