A perfect family campground

I hesitate to write a review only because I don’t want this campground to get overcrowded. This was the perfect campground in our opinion! It was easy to find a campsite on a Saturday night in August, the bathrooms were clean, the dirt road in was smooth, there weren’t pesky mosquitos, grey jays or even squirrels around. The sites were spread out enough so that you didn’t feel like you were on top of each other and the picnic tables, fire pit and grills were all in good shape. A good mix of shade and sun on almost every site. We’ll be back!

Great time!

We were the only one in the campground when we visited. Which was lovely! The bathrooms and campground in general was very clean! Really enjoyed our stay!

Great weekend at lynx pass!

Great spot for a weekend of tenting! Plenty of spots available when we came in late on Friday night. Dumpster, vault toilets, and water pump available. No campground host or firewood available. $10 a night fee. We stayed in spot 10 which offered nice tree cover and a clearing to watch the sun set. A pond within walking distance was stocked with trout for some fishing. Tons of ohv and mountain bike trails nearby. Tons of wildflowers in July! Great place to get away from road noise.

Gorgeous remote campground

Basic campground in a gorgeous setting. Each site has a picnic table and a fire pit. There’s a vault toilet in the middle of the campground with hand sanitizer. Hand pump for water. No cell phone service. Dirt road to get there, but regular car will do fine.

Walk ups only. Weekends might be crowded but weekdays were empty. $10 per night.

Pros: — Beautiful remote place — Most sites have ample shade from the trees, some have views on the nearby lake

Cons: — Toilets didn’t have toilet paper — Dumpster was full — No host on duty

Great, quiet, clean.

I arrived here about 3 or 4 in the afternoon. I was alone in the C.G. Clouds were building so I set up my tarp and pulled out my camp chair. The timing was perfect. About 5 minutes later the rain started. It lasted about 20 min then stopped. I found the pump and filled my water bag and then filtered it. The water was rust colored but the filter cleaned it up.
There is a small lake a few hundred yards away, which I didn't try fishing in, no gear. About an hour later 2 guys came in on bicycles followed by a ranger on patrol. Wonderful place to stay. I hope to return with a fishing pole.

Great, quiet spot near Kremmling

We found this spot looking for dispersed camping one busy weekend with no prevail. We rolled up on this campground on a Saturday afternoon and no body was there. It was $10, but the bathroom facility was the nicest and cleanest latrine I have ever seen. We got a great spot over looking a nice pond. Easy access for any type of vehicle or trailers. Lots of nearby trails for ATV, biking and hiking. This was very quiet and lovely, first come-first serve. If you can't get out til Saturday, I can't imagine this place fills up on a busy weekend!
