Accessible via side roads that can deteriorate quickly, Cottonwood Campground sits on open terrain managed by the Bureau of Land Management near Bond, Colorado. The campground provides sites in close proximity to a lake, with some locations better suited for ATV users than traditional tent camping. Cell service reaches the area, though campers should not expect television or radio reception.
Taylor Park experiences heavy traffic, so site selection matters for those preferring quieter camping experiences. The nearby lake offers water access for recreation. Campers can explore additional campsites near Bond throughout the region.
Description
There are three campsites located along the Colorado river. The site is open all year. RVs are not allowed due to access and the area is tent only camping. The river along this section of the river is very popular during the summer. For more information, please contact the BLM Kremmling Field Office.

This campsite is located on river left at Colorado River mile 14.7. It is located about 1 mile above (north) the Radium Recreation Site. The Cottonwood Sites (Upper and Lower) are also accessible by foot from County Road 11, though it requires a scramble over a steep hill. High clearance 4x4 vehicles may access the site from September 15th to May 1st. This site is not accessible by vehicle in the summer months
