A creek runs directly alongside camp at West Walker River Roadside Camp, a dispersed site in Toiyabe National Forest outside Coleville, California. The road in includes an incline toward the back section, which one visitor in a raised, extended-length van was able to navigate. Fall foliage along the creek corridor is a draw in late October. Campers who want campsites near Coleville with direct water access and room to choose their own spot will find this worth the short drive south.
