Wet Meadows Reservoir sits within Toiyabe National Forest outside Markleeville, a free dispersed-style site with a small lake that can be viewed from camp. The road in is rough enough that high clearance is recommended, though at least one Subaru Outback has made the trip without incident. No amenities are on-site, so campers need to pack out all waste. Cell service is listed as available, and the site is open June through October with campfires and pets both permitted.
