Group camping takes center stage at this Forest Service site, where multiple families or organizations can reserve the entire facility together. The campground operates seasonally from late May through mid-October, providing vault toilets, picnic tables, and fire rings for gatherings. Firewood is available on-site, and pets are welcome with proper supervision.
Located within the Tahoe National Forest near Sierraville, the campground sits close to several individual sites including Woodcamp Campground and Fir Top. The drive-in access makes setup straightforward for larger groups hauling multiple vehicles and gear. Trash service keeps the area maintained throughout the season.
Description
The campground offers two group sites that can accommodate up to 25 people each.
