Clean, safe place to park, fairly busy.

Well maintained, friendly host. Clean, feels safe. Bridge construction at the mouth of the harbor, use the path next to the bridge (don’t let Apple Maps send you though miles of residential streets, just walk around the construction). Lots of things to do and see, e-bike rental racks all over the city (get the BCycle app). Best tacos at Las Palmas at the foot of the pier! It’s a University town UC Santa Cruz) so enjoy all that culture.

Commerants nesting in trees. Longer walk along north side of harbor to town/other areas. Camp ground host provided map when arrived. Good location to rest after and/or before a long drive. Nice quiet park

Only about 8 minutes from Santa Cruz beach/boardwalk. Off a quiet street. Reasonable price for the location.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are the amenities and facilities available at Santa Cruz Harbor RV Park?

Santa Cruz Harbor RV Park offers water, electric, and sewer hookups located at the back of each parking slot. The RV sites are on adjoining asphalt parking slots that face the boats in the harbor. Each site includes a picnic table. Garbage and recycling bins are conveniently located at the end of the RV parking row. It's important to note that the park does not provide bathrooms or showers as part of the RV parking fee, and no public facilities are located nearby. The park is well-maintained and feels secure, providing basic necessities for self-contained RVs.

What do reviews say about Santa Cruz Harbor RV Park?

Santa Cruz Harbor RV Park is appreciated for its excellent location, just about 8 minutes from Santa Cruz beach and the boardwalk. The park sits on a quiet street and offers reasonable prices considering its prime coastal location. The RV sites are nearly level and face the boats in the harbor, providing pleasant views. The property is well-maintained with a friendly host. The area feels safe and clean. There are numerous recreational opportunities nearby, including e-bike rentals throughout the area. Visitors particularly value the harbor setting combined with convenient access to Santa Cruz attractions.

How do I check availability and make reservations at Santa Cruz Harbor RV Park?

To check availability and make reservations at Santa Cruz Harbor RV Park, contact the harbor office directly. The park has a friendly host who manages the property. Due to the small size of the park (with limited spaces), it's advisable to book well in advance, especially during peak seasons. The reservation process is straightforward, but specific booking policies and payment methods should be confirmed when making your reservation. For the most current information on availability and reservation procedures, contact the Santa Cruz Harbor office.

Is beachfront or oceanfront camping available at Santa Cruz Harbor RV Park?

Santa Cruz Harbor RV Park is not directly on the beachfront or oceanfront, but it does offer waterfront views of the harbor with boats. The park is situated along the Santa Cruz Harbor, providing a marina setting rather than ocean beach access. However, the Santa Cruz beach and boardwalk are only about 8 minutes away, making it very convenient to visit oceanfront areas. Currently, there's bridge construction at the harbor mouth, but pedestrian paths allow access around the construction area. For those seeking proximity to ocean activities with harbor views, this location offers a good compromise.
