Riverpoint Landing Marina Resort

Watching oceangoing ships pass from your campsite is not something most RV parks can claim. Riverpoint Landing Marina Resort sits along the Stockton Deep Water Channel, where freighters and the occasional sailboat race move through within clear view of the sites. The campground runs year-round and accepts rigs up to 43 feet, with electric and water hookups at each site. No sewer connections are available on-site, though a dump station is on the property.

Sites are level gravel pads, and reviewers consistently note the grounds stay clean and well-maintained. Fishing the delta directly from the campsite is possible, which draws anglers looking to work the channel without driving anywhere. The surrounding area includes shopping and restaurants close by, and a dog-friendly park sits just outside the resort for pet owners. Campers planning a longer Delta region itinerary can also look at Windmill Cove RV Park or Tiki Lagoon Resort & Marina as nearby alternatives along the waterway.

Nightly rates run $69 to $89, with reservations available. Ttowle describes it as "a unique rv park right on the Stockton deep water channel." WiFi, showers, and drinking water round out the amenities. This campground makes the most sense for RV travelers who want full hookups with direct water access and an industrial waterway setting that differs noticeably from a typical marina stay. Those exploring camping spots outside Stockton will find this one of the more distinctive setups in the region.

Absolutely amazing

Just purchased our first camping trailer and decided to go somewhere close to home. We heard River Point Campground was an excellent place to go to. Everything there could not be better. Staff was fantastic! The grounds were beautiful. Our site was right along the Deep Water Channel. We saw ships coming in and out of the channel. Was lucky to see a sailboat race also. I HIGHLY recommend River Point Campground. We'll be back soon.

Clean, convenient, view a waterfront view!

We stayed for two nights. From booking to checkout we enjoyed our stay. Candy, who works in the office is awesome. The site was level, roomy, and right on the river. Clean facilities and grounds. Friendly neighbors. Dog friendly with a nice park just outside of the resort. Shopping and restaurants nearby.

Unique

This is a unique rv park right on the Stockton deep water channel where you can sit next to your rv and watch huge oceangoing ships come into port. We loved it. They do not have sewer hookups, but there is a dump station.

It’s ok.

Lots of pavement. But the view of the river is awesome!
