Good overnight stop

Clean and safe overnight stop along I-5. Friendly and helpful staff. Security on patrol in golf carts. A little expensive, but not bad when considering the alternatives. We'll likely stop here again when on our way somewhere.

Well Run Campground

We stayed here in January 2024 and got a Passport America discount. Traveling south on US-101, then US-12 east, our RV GPS took us right to this campground(CG). Check-in was quick and easy, and we proceeded unescorted to pull through site 32 with FHUs. The cement pad was plenty long enough for our 40’ fifth wheel and unhooked F450. The utilities are on the back quarter of the pad. We needed 15’ of sewer hose. The water pressure was okay at about 40 psi. We got 4 bars on Verizon. They have Wifi and you can upgrade for a price to streaming quality. The CG has a small convenience store that sells ice and propane plus wine. This CG is mainly a short-term stay place but there are what seem to be permanent parties plus transient workers with site areas clean and organized. There are a lot of feral cats in this CG. They have a huge fenced dog area in the drainage bowl behind the office that also has solar panels on the outskirts. We did not use the area due to the recent rain. We wished we’d spent a few more days to explore the area, especially the wineries.

Expensive but worth it

Squeaky clean and organized. Nice pool and hot tub, nice laundry facilities (more than one!), moderately sized paved and level sites, nice store with a few local wines, AND HUGE fenced area to walk your dog OFF LEASH. Close to several amenities and just off I5. I’d give this place 6 stars if I could!

Convenient

Convenient rest stop, has a small pool, is close to stores, highway, mostly facilitates larger size RVs, and generally clean and quiet.

Awesome stay!

This place is an amazing spot. Most places claim to be resorts, but this r.v. spot is an actual resort. With a clubhouse, pool, hot tub, propane, clean spots and plenty. Absolutely loved this place. With the amazing amenities comes a complementary price. But it was well worth it.

Clean and level

Comfortable and easy in and out facility. Restroom and showers are well kept. Store and check in area very nice. Not a big fan of the lava rock site area, would prefer grass. Otherwise a nice stay with wineries, breweries, golf and other outdoor activities near by.

Pretty Park, Over Priced

Before I start, yes I’ve heard folks say, “If you’ve paid thousands of dollars for a RV, you can afford to pay to park it.” For me, it’s not the cost, it’s value for the money. In this case, $62.00 for nice lava rock and clean concrete sidewalks and roads it a bit over priced. We stayed in Spaceport near Edwards, had the same amenities for $20.00 but with gravel and dirt. That said.... The park is located near several restaurants and has very easy access from I-5. While WiFi is listed as free, they put a disclaimer in if you want to stream videos, you must PAY for more. I guess if I was staying more than over night, I would appreciate the new concrete more. I give it three stars cause, yes the place is nice, but it’s all about making money.

Great Stop Along the Way

We were only here one night but it was easy in and out from the Interstate. Clean park with not a lot of people but it may have been the season. We enjoyed the pull through site. Easy to navigate.

Somewhat expensive, crummy WiFi

Brilliantly located asking I-5 is this park. We paid $58 for the night, a clean concrete patch, small trees with little or no shade but full hookups. The free WiFi is for email checking only, you want better? You pay extra.

Good maybe for a single night only. Be careful, the office workers don't wear masks.
