Solid spot for being near the beach

Nice little site that is right in the middle of everything.

It's crowded and you don't have much space, but if your using this instead of a hotel room it works great.

It had a game room and pool so kids had something to do. There were families all over with kids riding bikes. We had a quick stay over while we were seeing family in the area and it worked great .

Only issue we had is both entrances have a hell of a dip, we scraped the ass end real good going in and out with our 24ft class c.

Nice for a couple of days

This was our first visit to the Oceanside area. The RV park did a great job with communication in all phases of the planned stop. They did text to look for the check in with the orange flags. Once there, these flags are very narrow and I hard a hard time spotting them, as they are on a busy sign flooded street.. After circling back and now coming from the east, the narrow drive with the street light and curb wasn't enough for us to turn...so backed it up and went to the wider entrance down the street. Hopefully your arrival will be easier. :-). Once through self check in, the sites are all concrete but pretty tight. All the hook ups worked well. The Wi-Fi is one of the best I have used. The showers and bathrooms are very clean. No real views there. Beach is an easy walk or bike ride. We enjoyed the restaurants, town and the outdoors of Oceanside.

Nice showers

Small RV spots and a commuter train passes by every 15 minutes. But the showers and bathrooms are really good.

Tight place

It's right off main strip in oceanside. Small sign almost missed the turn. Tight spots lucky for us It's not summer so it was full. It is clean and besides the commuter train pretty quiet

Really good overall experience

This is an excellent campground. We enjoyed the pool and the game room. The only draw back which did not make sense is the showers were shut down in the morning for cleaning…really. Just when you go to the shower you can’t because someone is cleaning. I can understand cleaning them but do it in the afternoon when people aren’t wanting to shower.

Good location and amenities

Close to lots of restaurants and a 15 min walk to the beach. Friendly office staff and lots of amenities on site including newly renovated bathrooms, a pool and hot tub, and a nice dog run area complete with dog wash station. The spots have full hook ups but can be difficult to find. Concrete and fairly level, no grass or trees.

Great RV Park Oceanside

Found this rv park that takes same day reservations. Overall liked this rv park, close to town for us to explore all the restaurants close by. Beach is a 5-10 minute walk. Staff was friendly ask for Diana sweetheart. Only thing is that they need to do is to clean up landscapes in the spaces you park.

Great RV park, nice amenities, further from beach than you think

This was a great RV Park. They were in the middle of some of their upgrades which include power system (adding a ton of solar...yeah!) and it was the hottest day of the year so we had a couple of short power outages at our site. They advertise that they will be done by Nov 2020 with these upgrades. The reason for 4 stars was that the ad says 8 minute walk to the beach. It was an 8 minute walk to the ocean. The beach is about a mile away. Overall would stay here again. Thanks!!

Ocean 🌊 side

We camped here on a trip up the coast and found this spot at the end of the day. There are 5 spots where you can walk your stuff and camp right on the beach. Each spot was secluded and had a picnic table and a good size area for your tent. It’s a newer retro campground with spots for RV’s, tents, cabins and yurts. There are a lot of option and facilities with showers, bathrooms and laundry.

Totally fine. Nothing special. Good jumping-off place nearish to the beach

Overall I’d rate this park a“meh.” It’s an okay location, across the highway and a short walk from a “beach” (more like a little beachy play area), though it’s also right up against the train tracks. Oceanside as a town is pretty cute, depending on which part you're in. You’re also a very close drive to Lego Land and not too far from San Diego and such. Since campgrounds in Southern California tend to be very, very expensive, this one falls about in the middle.

The spots were okay. Not too tight, but not cute. There's some fences and scrub-trees in-between the spots, so that helps a bit. There’s also a dog area, which is helpful. Bathrooms okay. Nothing special. Like I said, mostly a “meh.”

When we were there, there was also a bit of construction and such going on. In reading other reviews online it looks like there’s a new owner as of some time in 2019, so it may end up nicer in the future. But as it was, I’d try somewhere else first if you can find other options more to your liking.

Fine But Not Amazing

There are several RV Parks in the Oceanside area, or that are nearby beaches. We've had a great time across the street at Paradise Pier. The Oceanside RV Park, however, leaves quite a bit to be desired. There are quite a few areas that seem to be under constant renovation, as well as many long-time visitors, which isn't really our scene. And while it is close to the beach, it also borders an active train track. There are other better options.

That said, there are two reasosn why you'd want to stay at Oceanside if other places were not available. First, their, dog run is quite a bit larger that other places and second, they have a strange fake grass tent area where you can stay without at RV, which is one of the only "resort" type places where I've seen that in the area.
