Beautiful lake

The bathrooms and laundry area are kept up. But could use an update as it is becoming run down. However, the camp itself was a great experience. Well kept grounds and the lake has plenty to stay busy. We rented a boat for very responsible price and fished for an entire day. The playground is…

Beautiful Lakeside Sites

Quiet family friendly campsite on a lake on Camp Pendleton. Fishing and boating available. I think they even have boats for campers to use. Must have base access to camp. RV and tent sites, many on the lake with mature trees. Clean bathrooms and showers. Two playgrounds for kids. Their map doesn’t…

Directions

Northbound I-5 exit 54B go through gate then 9 miles to left on Santa Margarita Rd to campground on the right. ---- Southboun I-5 exit 71 Basilone rd. Go thru gate proceed on Basilone rd approx 19 miles, left on Vandergrift 2 miles to left on Santa Margarita to campground on the right.
