Jackson Point Campground is a boat-in only campground located on the east side of Jackson Meadow Reservoir, approximately 1/2 mile southwest of the Pass Creek Boat ramp. Jackson Meadow Reservoir is a gorgeous high elevation lake with good fishing. Part of the Pacific Crest Trail passes along the east side of the reservoir. Snow pack determines when the campground opens. The only water source is from the reservoir - purify before drinking.

Directions
<p>From Bowman Lake: Continue on Bowman Lake Road until you reach the south shore of Jackson Meadow Reservoir (about 5 miles on a rough road). Continue on to Pass Creek Campground and boat in.</p><p>From Truckee: Drive 17 miles north on Hwy 89. Turn left at Little Truckee Summit on Forest Road 7. Continue 16 miles west to Jackson Meadow Reservoir. Campground is 1/2 mile south west of Pass Creek Boat Ramp by boat access only.</p><p>From Sierraville: Drive 11 miles south on Hwy 89. Turn right at Little Truckee Summit on Forest Road 7. Continue 16 miles west to Jackson Meadow Reservoir. Campground is 1/2 mile south west of Pass Creek Boat Ramp by boat access only.<br /> </p>
