Fraser Flat Road Dispersed — Stanislaus NF

Description

Fraser Flat Road (4N01) cuts through tall timber of Stanislaus National Forest to reach this flat wooded pullout sitting just off the pavement, with the South Fork Stanislaus River less than a mile to the north and Fraser Flat Campground just around the bend. The area is spacious enough to handle big rigs and multiple groups, with established fire rings on both sides of the road. It sees moderate summer use, so packing out trash goes a long way toward keeping it open.
