Cypress Morro Bay RV Park

Reservations are available year-round at this privately operated RV park sitting three blocks from Morro Bay's waterfront, with full hookups accommodating rigs up to 44 feet. Electric, water, and sewer connections are on-site, along with showers, WiFi, and drinking water, making it a functional base for longer stays on California's Central Coast. Staff responsiveness stands out in reviews, with at least one camper noting the owner came out after hours to handle a late check-in.

The park sits inside a residential neighborhood, which shapes the atmosphere. Lars T. describes it as "concrete jungle but friendly staff and very quiet," a fair summary of the tradeoff between urban surroundings and low noise levels. Multiple reviewers mention cleanliness as a consistent strength. Cell service is noted as available. The setting is compact, so campers expecting open space or natural landscaping will want to calibrate expectations accordingly.

The location rewards those who want walkable access to town amenities. Breakfast spots, the pier, and waterfront walks are all within a short distance on foot, and sea otters have been spotted in the bay. Pets are welcome. Nearby alternatives include Harborview RV Park a short distance away, and campers researching the area can browse campgrounds near Morro Bay for a broader look at options. If a walkable in-town location with full hookups is the priority, Cypress Morro Bay RV Park is worth a closer look.

Great stay

Small quiet park in town, but just 3 blocks from the bay. Full services available. We were late checking in. I called to let them know and they came to check us in after hours. Very nice people! Went to breakfast down the street, then walked around the pier and took lots of great pictures. Sea otters were floating around nursing their young. Had a great time!
