Sitting at roughly 7,500 feet in the San Bernardino mountains near campsites near Green Valley Lake, Yellow Post Number 9 is a drive-in dispersed site with a notable access obstacle: a boulder at the entry that requires careful maneuvering. One camper dragged a rock slider on a mid-size Xterra with 35-inch tires coming in, and rigs wider than that are not recommended. The site has picnic tables, allows campfires and pets, and reported 5G cell service. Vehicles are limited to 15 feet. Yellow Post Campsite #8 is another option in the same dispersed system for campers who need easier vehicle access.
