Full timers

Park is full of full time campers. Lots of clutter and unsightly sites of makeshift roofs and enclosures. I drove thru to check it out and will not be staying. Might be a great place to live, but not for camping purposes.

We will be back

Clean easy to get in sites. Water and electric sites with a dump station for when you leave. Bathrooms were very clean. Only complaint is that as a paying guest we still had to pay to dump ($5) and showers are $2/7mins. Great place for kids with playground, western town and store with ice cream and beers.

Great for passing through

Stopped here on our way to and from Oregon. Easy pull through sites, full hookups. Friendly staff and they make it easy if you come late and leave early as we did.

Clean and cozy

Clean family owned. Right on the Williamson River. Showers are amazing and so clean. This is a great spot to spot in if you are passing through or need a break for a day or two. You have about 8’ from your RV door to your neighbor’s. Not much in the area to see. We will absolutely be back if we are passing through! Staff was so so friendly! Not sure about the prior reviewers experience but we did not have anything of the sort.

Wide open large sites

Great campground, easy to get in and out with level sites. Facilities were nice, right on the river, close to town. Would stay here again if in the area. No complaints

Amazing!

We loved this cute family owned and operated RV Park! They have tent sites as well as full and partial hookup sites for RVs. Showers, restrooms and laundry were Immaculate. Property is beautiful and well manicured. This is a fantastic campground if you plan on visiting Yosemite as it is only 12 miles from the main entrance and about 1 mike from HWY 120. Staff were very helpful and friendly and make you feel so welcome. Thank you Beaver Family! So fun to see all of the travelers come in on foot or in their RVs from all over the World. The only reason this gets a 4 star review is site size and no wood fires. You are very close together with minimal room outside your trailer.

Clean and friendly

Very clean state park campground. Camp hosts were awesome, other campers very respectful. Very close to town and nature. Most full hookup sites seemed easy to maneuver with RV/trailer. We had 30’ TT and had no issues. Nice paved sites with bench and fire pit. Book early!

Will be back

Came in just for a quick overnight stay on our way home from Oregon. We will be back. Extremely clean, easy to get in your spot. We have a 30’ travel trailer and there was so much availability, we did go mid Sept so kind of off season. Plenty of shade trees, full hook ups. A decent walk to the waters edge by reasonable.

Quiet park, not for “camping”

This is an ideal park for seniors to live, or others passing through. Nothing to do in the area. Park is clean and quite. Had laundry but nothing to do.

Grassy clean camp sites

Excellent campground. Well maintained. Large concrete pads that can handle any rig. So much to do all around a park. Does get very cold, was in the teens overnight when I was there in Feb. Fires allowed which is nice.

Not so great

Shade is sparse, fellow campers aren’t the most considerate. I have been here 3 times and it always ends up being loud. Fellow campers play music loud and it’s more of a low class party area then camping. I won’t be back.

Large clean sites with grass

Great park. It may not seem nice when you are passing through town to get in, but once you enter the gates it’s beautiful. Large concrete pads, easy backing in and hooking up. Lots of grass, great place to camp in groups.

Clean, family owned

Old school campground with a mountain feel. Small general store and fishing pond. Sites are very close together, not a whole lot of trees. Out and about fishing all day so didn’t spend too much time at the campground. You can tell this was around before the huge RVs that are out there today. Very clean, creek runs right along campground.

Quiet with big trees

Decent campground. 26 sites, most are not level and most of campground is loose dirt from side by side riders. I would stay here again. Biggest downfall is the dusty dirt everywhere. Trees are big and provide shade. I cannot speak for restrooms as I was in my travel trailer. Can accommodate larger RVs if you are adventurous and skilled getting into some sites. No reservations, first come first serve.

Best creekside camping!

Right on the creek, good fishing. Very clean. Of note, sites on creekside do not have parking. Must park across the way, still close just pack accordingly. This is a very busy campground so get there early in the week!
