Blue Sky RV Park

SUMMARY PRESENTED BYT-Mobile

Mature shade trees line the sites at Blue Sky RV Park in Mountain View, Arkansas, and their canopies are trimmed high enough to clear most RV rooflines. The park sits just off Highway 5, which means front sites pick up some road noise, but reviewers consistently note that sites further back are noticeably quieter. Pull-through sites are spacious, with gravel pads that tend to run level, though at least one camper with a fifth wheel found manual leveling necessary where auto-leveling systems fell short.

Full hookups include 30 and 50 amp electric, water, and sewer connections. Cable TV runs $1 per day, and WiFi is available at no extra charge for standard speeds. The bathhouse draws consistent praise for cleanliness. No swimming pool is on site, but the White River is a short drive away, with trout fishing, kayaking, canoeing, and stand-up paddleboarding all within reach. Weekly and monthly rates are available, and the park runs a seventh-night-free promotion.

Mountain View adds to the draw. The Ozark Folk Center is nearby, and the town square hosts regular music on weekends. Ozark Folk Center State Park Cabins and Whitewater RV Park are among the other options in the area for those comparing places to camp near Mountain View. Campers planning a trip should come prepared for ticks, chiggers, and summer humidity. Pack accordingly, and the rest takes care of itself.

Many campers appreciated the level pull-through sites, clean facilities, and exceptionally helpful owner. Some road noise affects front sites, but the park offers good value with quality amenities and convenient location near Mountain View attractions.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Very quiet. Well shaded and all tree limbs are high enough to not hit our unit. Our site was very long. It was nice to be able to unhook and have plenty of room for the 5th wheel and truck. Their website was great as it shows pictures of each site. Not just a few of the sites.  Hard to level. We were unable to use auto level and had to manually level. The front jacks were hardly down at all and the back jacks will all the way down,

Great Spot

This place is so much bigger than it looks. Great pull through sites. Great sites for family camping. It is located not far from town on a busy highway Highway 5 but once you pull off the road you would never know. Very shaded and mature trees. Owner has tried to think of everything but you will not find a swimming pool There are several outside family games and the local area is Loaded with fun things to do. Blue Sky even has event space that you can rent if you are staying in the park. 30 and 50 amp service cable TV available, free WiFi high speed with additional charge. Weekly and monthly rates available and check out the seventh night free. White River is not far, bring a boat or rent one. Trout fishing is great. Your options are open in this small community.  Get ready because Arkansas has ticks, chiggers, and humidity.
Far a small town Mountain View has so much to offer it’s guest. It brings our minds to days gone by. Weekends will find pickers on the square and concerts at the Ozark Folk Center. Few campgrounds have a pool but you can always head to the creek for a dip. Stand up paddle board, canoe, kayak, Loco Ropes, mountain bikes, hiking, antiquing, trail rides, fishing. I think that gives you ideas. Mountain View has a movie theatre and one of the last remaining drive in theaters left in the USA. You will find first run movies at both. Have Fun Stay Safe Leave No Trace Better Than You Found It

Nice place for visiting Mountain View, AR

Nice clean park. Lots of tall trees that are well trimmed above RV’s. Host was very nice and helpful.

Close to visit Ozark Folk Life Center and Mountain View for the Folk Music. Easy access to the sites. Cable TV for $1.00 per day. Good hook ups. Reasonable price of $25 per night with free WiFi.

Our site was up front so we had a little road noise from the 2 lane highway but it wasn’t bad. Sites further back would be quiet. Gravel pads that are level.

Our Favorite Park

This is our favorite park hands down. The owner is a wonderful lady who goes out of her way to help make the stay great! The location is great. This park is in between Walmart and the river. The downtown is only a few minutes away and they are always having singing at the park in the beautiful outdoor areas.

The spots are level and easy to pull through. The bath house is clean and well maintained. Tons of shade trees but limbs are all kept trimmed away from RV’s.

This is definitely our favorite all around park.
