Located on the corner of SR188 and Tonto Creek Trail in Tonto Basin. From Payson take SR87 south to SR188, then take a left (east) on SR188 and go 15 miles. Turn left on Tonto Creek Trail and enter park on left. From Phoenix take Loop 202 East to exit 13. Turn left on SR87 going north towards Payson for 56.5 miles, then take a right (east) on SR188 and go 15 miles. Turn left on Tonto Creek Trail and enter park on left. From Globe take SR188 for 46 miles. Turn right on Tonto Creek Trail and enter park on left.
