Showers and pool are closed indefinitely

We had reservations here for a month, but canceled because their showers are not working and we didn’t want to spend a month without a shower. We were told they are going to fix the showers “soon”. Also the pool is closed, and there are no plans to reopen. It looks like a nice place. Just needs better management.

ALL FACILITIES REMAIN CLOSED

I like the park, however Janet the owner has closed the clubhouse, swimming pool, hot tub because of Covid paranoia. I really think she found that she has saved money by keeping things closed and some people will come regardless so why should she open things up? These closures in my opinion have made the park extremely boring and it didn’t use to be that way! She should lower her rates with facilities closed! Better yet she should listen to her customers instead of her Covid expert daughter.

Nice Place, but I think it’s on the decline

We moved to Tombstone Territories after dry camping for 10 days. We were ready for laundry and full hook ups. We were going to stay for 3 days, but extended 3 more. The park is sort of desolate, but it’s not too far to towns for groceries and such. It is central to many fun things to see and do. I say it’s on the decline because they have a pool and the check in clerk said it had not been open since COVID, she had no idea when/if they would reopen it. She also said they used to have fun activities pre COVID, but nothing since. One other thing. I found it difficult to figure out where to check in. There is a big house, but when you walk up to it, it says private residence. They should put up signs or something. Wi-Fi was non existent. We did like the full hook ups.

This was a great place to spend the winter

We spent 4 months here over the winter months. Big spacious pull thru spots and very clean and well maintained. Clubhouse and pool were closed due to Covid over reaction, and the price was still the same without those amenities.

Park is out away from civilization, with a lot of hiking /biking trails. Laundry was acceptable but not exceptional. Several machines were out of order at any given time. At the end of the winter the work campers that did such a great job all left to go north and the services all but disappeared. The park almost completely emptied out by the 1st of May.

There was a nice little dog park that that actually had some nice grass that our dog definitely enjoyed.

The water pressure on the West end of the park was terrible at times but over all a great place to spend the winter.

After 10 years of RVing this is still my favorite campgrounds.

Secluded and very private. Large enough for your every need. Two nearest towns are 15-20 miles away. Sierra Vista has anything anyone would want and Tombstone is a tourist haven. Recommend this site to anyone that wishes to avoid large crowds and loves open skies and spaces.
