Parker Pit Road Dispersed

This is a good spot for RV's and Vans. The signage at the beginning of the road reads "Primitive Road" but it is actually in very good condition. There are some handy spots, but just keep some speed and any vehicle should make it through just fine. Plenty of space with just enough foliage to allow for a bit of privacy.

This spot is great if you’re looking to boondock in an RV. Located between mile marker 133 and 134 on the left side if you’re heading North. Unmarked entrance but a cattle guard to note the turn. There are spots as soon as you pull in for car/tent camping, but if you are in an RV I suggest going past the second cattle guard where there is a ton of space for RV’s, toy haulers, etc. Some of the spots have deep, soft sand so be careful choosing a spot.

Arrived at pit on 10/3/25 to spend the night. Road is good coming in. 2 areas right b4 the 2nd cattle guard were almost washed out during last rain (last week?) but just mostly sand 4 to 6 inches deep. Just accelerate a bit, no problem. Lots of room at turnaround easy room for 20+ larger units, privacy and still maintain the turnaround. Im in F350 crewcab/longbed pulling 28' toy hauler. Nice flat area.

We are all about sleeping for free! We roof top a lot with our boat. If you are looking for a place to stay while fishing the Parker strip you can safely bring your boat down this road and there are places to turn around. Right past the second cattle guard is a big opening. Perfect place to catch some quick zzzz’s

This is an open BLM camping area. The access is between Mike 134 and 133 on AZ hwy 95. It is about 11 miles south of Parker, AZ. You cross a cattle guard to access, then head down a dirt road. You can camp anywhere, but the better spots are after the second cattle guard. Cell service for Verizon is 3 to 4 bars. It is quiet from campers, but you can hear traffic on hwy 95. Services are close by in Parker, AZ, including dumping stations and water filling stations. There are several dumpsters around town, and a transfer station. This area is about 25 miles north of Quartzsite, AZ.
