Remote County RV park

Close to I8 and the BLM Sonoran National Monument. This is a Pinal County park and there are about 19 sites, most are nice large pull thru sites. Well maintained dirt gravel roads. 14d limit and $10 nite for standard site with a shade cabana, table and bbq grill. Camp host on site. However there…

Quiet Desert

Crowded but quiet, dog friendly. Spots were large enough, however some were placed parallel to the road, which concerned us about our slide. Ended up being fine, beautiful sunset views, close enough to the city and fun to explore up the mountains.

Great privacy and pavilions

Stayed closer to highway bc kids make a lot of noise and we didn’t have to worry about bothering anyone. Views are great and sites well maintained.

Clean and quiet!

Sites are spaced out and the restrooms/showers were super clean! Met some friendly folks and had a great time there. I did wind cave trail and pass mountain trail and i recommend both!

Gracious host!

I planned on staying about 5 miles away on some public land but upon arrival, I didn’t have service (remote worker) so I quickly found this place. Arrived in the dark and pulled up the reservation site (all online). It’s $10/night plus a $2 processing fee. Spots were spacious, had a picnic table…

Great for all types of campers

This campground is very well maintained and has something for everyone! RVs, tents, groups, and back-ins. They are well spaced out and numbered gravel sites with a firepit and stone picnic benches. Reservations are recommended- we booked 2 days before and got the last site. Booking a site omits the…

Beautiful views on a busy road.

The views are amazing but so is the traffic. But around 9pm it quiets down. Sites are close to the road for the most part unless you have a high clearance vehicle. Lots of hiking in the area. Trail head at end of road gets very busy. Oh also this is state trust land so permit is required.

Nice Even Spots

Beautiful views, water, electic, dump station near sites, very clean campground. Close to Phoenix, Apache Junction and surrounding areas. Hiking available, we didn't use the restrooms so can't update on them. Would highly recommend staying here. 👍👍

Great views and nice amenities

The campground has developed sites in the middle of the Sonoran Desert. The views are fantastic, especially during early spring. The sites are well maintained and have several bathrooms with private showers. Usery Mountain is also just a few minutes away from east Mesa, which has a good selection…
