Pinery Campground Lower sits along the Pinery Scenic Route 42 on an all-dirt road at the base of a mountain incline, within Coronado National Forest. The site is large enough to accommodate a group and sits on a hillside shaded by tree cover. No facilities or drinking water are available, though a fire ring is on-site. Campers who can manage the dirt road access and don't need hookups or water will find it a functional free overnight stop.
