Accessible via a gravel Forest Service road about 4 miles south of Jacob Lake on Highway 67, this dispersed camping area sits on a forested ridge within Kaibab National Forest. No toilets, water, designated sites, tables, fire rings, or dumpsters are on-site, so campers need to arrive fully self-sufficient. Side spurs off the main road are two-track dirt; a standard AWD vehicle handled them without issue, though conditions may worsen farther down. Shade is consistent across the ridge, Verizon cell signal is reported as reliable, and highway noise from Highway 67 carries into camp. Kaibab NF Dispersed off Highway 67 near Jacob Lake is a nearby alternative worth considering.
