Description
Highway 67 climbs through ponderosa pine country on the Kaibab Plateau to a pull-off at roughly 8,150 feet, offering a level, easy-to-reach camping area just a few miles south of Jacob Lake on the road to the North Rim. A short dirt spur — passable by two-wheel-drive — leads to a flat clearing that comfortably fits a couple of rigs without the need for leveling. Expect minimal amenities and spotty cell signal in this quiet stretch of Kaibab National Forest.
