The quiet of Arizona's Sulphur Springs Valley settles over this 28-site campground at 4,200 feet elevation. Desert Oasis sits in the shadow of the Mule Mountains, where spacious sites accommodate RVs up to 90 feet with full hookups. The property spreads across enough acreage to include nature trails that loop through desert terrain, giving campers room to stretch their legs and walk dogs.
Reviews consistently highlight the campground's relaxed atmosphere and lack of crowds. Daryl L. notes the location stays "spacious, clean, and quiet" even during extended stays. The clubhouse anchors the property with pool tables, televisions, and a library, plus two sets of laundry machines that serve the entire campground. Cell service works well for most carriers, and WiFi reaches throughout the property.
The location puts campers eight miles from Bisbee's historic mining district and within range of Douglas and Tombstone for day trips. Winter temperatures typically hover in the 60s and 70s, drawing long-term visitors who appreciate the mild desert climate. Mary F. describes "Mountain Views all around and sunsets are amazing" from the valley floor setting.
Access requires navigating some rough road conditions, particularly after weather events. Sites range from dry camping spots near the clubhouse to full-hookup RV sites spread across the property. The campground welcomes pets and maintains nature trails where campers report seeing desert wildlife. Propane delivery service reaches individual sites, and hot showers stay available in the single bathhouse.
Campers wanting vintage accommodations can find The Shady Dell Vintage Trailer Court closer to Bisbee's downtown area.
