Beautiful Area but Loud

Campsites we’re first come first serve, and I didn’t have a problem snagging one mid-week. Trash bins were full just about everywhere, but the pit toilets were clean… The surroundings were gorgeous with easy access to a trail nearby. Only downside was the proximity to the road; several motorcycles and cars with loud exhausts were flying around at 130am-2am—felt like I was in the middle of a racetrack!

Convenient location

Great spot between Tucson and Mount Lemmon. Far enough down to stay warm in the winter. First come first serve and it was pretty empty at 5pm.
