Ice House CCC

Within Tonto National Forest, Ice House CCC operates as a day-use facility under US Forest Service management. The campground sits near a creek but does not offer overnight camping, with an on-site host monitoring the area. According to recent visitor reports, the access road may appear challenging with signage warning against passenger vehicles, though larger vehicles like Transit vans can navigate to nearby Pioneer Creek campground. The facility provides basic toilet amenities and accommodates RVs up to 16 feet. For overnight options, campers can explore campgrounds around Globe or check nearby Upper Pinal Campground for extended stays.
