I called to make reservations for September 21 for a5 days and she said that they are not offering tent camping at this time. Not even a overland trailer (Turtleback with a RTT), it has to be a RV only.
Fun place to be.!!! Campsites are just a short walk to the beach. The staff is very friendly and will be happy to help with any questions you might have. Bath house is cleaned every morning and showers were pretty warm. The campground has different sections depending on what size Rv you have. Full…

There is nothing special about this rv park. It has hook ups. You can walk to the bay and casino. It felt safe and the pad was level. I would stay there again.
Pulled in here and initially thought it was full until I saw signs for two primitive camping areas.
One had a small boat launch area for fishing boats or personal watercraft.
The other was perfectly situated at a few of the park's trailheads.
I chose the latter. For $13, it was a chill…
Been coming here since I was a baby. Love it and seems like they always trying update something.
We stayed in three sites in April 2021: 27, 6, and 64. This campground is in a nice location and has many good features: many beautiful trees and plants, spacing between sites, clean bathhouses, etc. Unfortunately , many of the trails are closed long-term, probably since Hurricane Sally. …
Giant Rv spots that were very spaced and secluded. Staff were great although not very attentive. We left out in the evening to visit friends and they wanted to know what time we’d be back. We said we weren’t sure and they seemed a little out off because they had to “close the gate”. They just said…
Lots of magnolia trees, great walking paths in wildlife protected areas with turtles and tons of birds, bathrooms, laundry room, small park for kids to play, and a very nice beach about 100 yards away. It's a snow bird community during the winter months. Great taco place and amazing bakery in…
Super friendly staff and the spots, wowza, they are huge and all pull through. Bring your bikes, lots of roads to explore with little traffic. Oh, and all sites also have sewer!
If you bring nothing but a love of history this is the perfect spot for you.
If you bring your family, this is the perfect spot for you.
If you bring a horse, a bike, or good hiking shoes this is the perfect spot for you.
If you bring a need for getting back to nature, a good book and a tent,…

Nice campground set in the forest. The roads in the park could use a little attention. The bathroom next to my site was freshly remodeled, and clean. Campsites are not on top of each other. Lots of hiking trails, I didn't have a chance to explore much as I was only there over night.
We stayed at Big Lagoon for two nights in late January - site 55. The campsites are not as nice as other FL State Parks we have stayed in. The site was sand and was not level - we needed leveling blocks for our 21’ RV. Some of the sites looked more level than others - as long as you have blocks,…

Located only a short 10 minute drive from Pensacola, Florida this is a great state park! Despite damage left from hurricane sally, the trails around the campground are gorgeous and covered in white sand. There is one main dump station and the sites have electric and water. All sites are private and…
