Within the Army Corps of Engineers' Millers Ferry Lock Recreation Area, Elm Bluff Campground sits along the Alabama River with approximately 10 sites. Campers reach the facility via two miles of red dirt road before arriving at the paved access road and large paved parking pads.
The campground provides water hookups at each site and maintains clean outhouses during the off-season. A boat launch gives direct river access for catfish fishing. The $14 nightly rate includes basic amenities like drinking water and restroom facilities, with pets allowed throughout the property. Reservations help secure spots during busier periods.
