Conconully State Park Campground

SUMMARY PRESENTED BYT-Mobile

Fishing, swimming, and boat launches draw campers to Conconully State Park Campground, which sits directly alongside a lake in the small town of Conconully in north-central Washington. The park runs from April through October and accommodates both tents and RVs up to 100 feet, with electric and water hookups available. Reservations are an option, which is worth considering during summer weekends in this compact area where places to camp near Conconully are spread across a handful of independent resorts and state facilities.

Sites here are open and exposed. Multiple reviewers note the lack of shade and privacy, though large conifers do provide some cover in spots. Deer move through the campground regularly, morning and evening, apparently unbothered by campers. Cell service is essentially nonexistent at the campground itself, with at least one visitor reporting the need to drive up to the nearby cemetery to get a signal on AT&T. As Harry H. put it, this is a "simple place with a shore, fishing, and boat launch, not much else."

Bathrooms have received mixed marks, with cleanliness flagged in at least two reviews. Drinking water, showers, and a dump station are on-site. The surrounding area has a wildlife refuge nearby, and the town itself is small enough that locals use ATVs to get around. Campers wanting a different setup nearby might consider Liar's Cove Resort or Conconully Lake Resort, both within a mile of the state park.

Decent campground

Bathrooms were not very clean, there is no phone connection, and the camping spots are not very private. There are some large trees that provide shadow. Deers walking through campsite morning and evening

Super cute little town!

Super cute little town! All the locals rode their ATVs/ORVs around town like cars. The site we scored was able to accommodate 6 riders. Nice clean campground. There was a little house close to our camp and the owners offered to let us use their spigots if we watered their plants for them. There were cute finds in the ranger station. Deer would cruise through the park unafraid of people. We have ATT and did not have cell signal. You had to ride up to the cemetery up the road if you wanted to get cell phone service.

Very close to town

This campground is very close to the quaint little town of Conconully, which isn’t a bad thing. The campsites are all very open with no shade or privacy. There are also cabins for rent. Simple place with a shore, fishing, and boat launch---not much else. Nice area for cross-country skiing, good wildlife thanks to the nearby refuge.

Great location

Enjoyed the play area with my son, we had a great time fishing and camp site was perfect. It's in a small town had deer going through camp. Enjoyed riding quads
