Boaters seeking access to Forde Lake will find this dispersed campground within the Sinlahekin Wildlife Area Complex, managed by Washington State Department of Fish & Wildlife. The boat-in only site sits between Forde Lake and a smaller pond, part of what was once an irrigation system. Ten sites accommodate various RV sizes, with four able to handle rigs up to 27 feet, though the first site should be avoided despite appearing suitable for larger units.
A gravel road leads about a mile from Loomis, generating dust from regular traffic. The area includes a less developed section with additional sites. Mosquitoes are present due to the lake and pond proximity. Campers can explore campgrounds around Tonasket for powered alternatives, or visit nearby Conners Lake for a different lakeside experience.
