High in Wyoming's Snowy Range above Encampment, Lost Creek sits within Medicine Bow National Forest at an elevation that keeps crowds thin even in summer. The campground has drinking water, vault toilets, picnic tables, and fire pits. Sites are not especially private, and level tent pads require some searching. RVs up to 40 feet are accommodated. Haskin Creek lies roughly two miles northeast for campers wanting a nearby alternative, and campgrounds around Encampment include additional options across the region. Season runs May 24 through October 31.
