Whiskey Gultch — Glendo State Park

Within Glendo Reservoir State Park, Whiskey Gultch provides a community-style camping experience with a central group pavilion surrounded by individual sites. The Wyoming Department of Parks and Cultural Resources manages this $10-per-night campground, which accommodates RVs up to 260 feet and offers reservations for the pavilion area.

The campground features gravel sites with picnic tables and fire pits, plus one concrete pad site. A bathroom and drinking water pump serve campers, though no hookups are available. Mule deer visit regularly in the morning hours, and train noise carries from nearby rail lines throughout the night. As of 3/23/26, a fire restriction is in effect. Wood fires are not permitted at all. Propane and gas grills are permitted. Charcoal grills must be equipped with a lid. Seminoe, Buffalo Bill, Boysen, Sinks Canyon, Medicine Lodge, and Curt Gowdy are all reservable sites where you are permitted to have wood fires in designated areas. Easy access

This is rhe second campground in the park. Easy access from the highway paved roads all the way. This campground feels like a little community. It have a group site innthe middle surrounded by single sites. Their is a reservation system for the pavilion so you can have a private event. Or first come first serve if no one has a reservation. Their is a bathroom and a drinking water pump. But no hook ups at the sites. One of the sites has a concrete pad the rest are gravel picnic table and firepit no grills here. You will be visited by mule deer in the morning. 3 bars verizon if you face back toward town. Also some distant train noise will be rumbling all night.
