Mule Hill Campground — Glendo State Park

Mule Hill Campground operates as a group-only site within Glendo Reservoir State Park, requiring a minimum of two camping units with a maximum of three RVs. The campground features a simple cul-de-sac layout positioned on a hill, enclosed by wood fencing and centered around three picnic tables and a fire pit.

Access involves rough roads leading to the elevated site. A wooded area separates the campground from Glendo Reservoir, providing nearby exploration space, though the restroom facilities require a half-mile walk back toward the main road. The site offers no hookups but provides 1-3 bars of Verizon cell service. Deer commonly appear in the area during evening hours. At $10 per night, the campground accommodates RVs up to 270 feet and accepts reservations through Wyoming State Parks.

As of 3/23/26, a fire restriction is in Effect. Wood fires are not permitted at all. Propane, gas, and charcoal grills with a lid are allowed.

Seasonal Notice: Campsites are available on a first-come, first-served basis from September 16 to May 14. Choose an open site, pay your fees, and enjoy! YURTS ARE AVAILABLE FOR RESERVATION YEAR-ROUND. MUST BOOK 48 HOURS IN ADVANCE.

Group camping spot

This is a group camp only. Must have minimum of 2 camping units with a max of 3. That refers to RVs. The spot is a simple cul-de-sac on a hill with wood fence around the outside and picnic table and fire pit in the middle. 3 picnic tables so you can accommodate quite a few people. You will probally see deer at night. Their is a woods area between. This spot and the water so a good place for kids to play around in thats not to far. The one thing that is to far is the bathroom. You can see it but its a half mile or so away back toward the main road. No hookups of any kin. 1-3 bars verizon signal.
