A mile of gravel road leads into Sunshine Beach, a state park campground on Seminoe Reservoir in Sinclair, Wyoming. Sites are gravel and mostly level, with some positioned on a point overlooking the lake and the Seminoe mountains. Wind is a real factor here: calm mornings can give way to gusty afternoons, so tent stakes and awnings need securing. T-Mobile service is spotty but usable. A shallow sandy bay on one side of the campground works well for kids swimming, though shade is limited. Reservations are required and must be made online. Campers wanting additional options around the reservoir can browse campsites near Seminoe Reservoir State Park, or consider South Red Hills Area — Seminoe State Park about half a mile northwest.
