South Twin Lake Dispersed — Medicine Bow NF

High in Wyoming's Snowy Range, South Twin Lake sits in an open alpine basin below Gold Hill at roughly 10,300 feet, with Medicine Bow Peak rising to the northeast. The only way in is via FR 103 past Libby Flats — a rough 4WD track that demands high clearance and should not be attempted in anything less capable than a truck or Jeep. Multiple dispersed spots are spread along the lakeshore and scattered on the approach, with natural water nearby and no cell service.
