Snake River Cabins & RV Village

SUMMARY PRESENTED BYT-Mobile

Fishing, floating, and riverside access draw campers to Snake River Cabins & RV Village, a private campground outside Jackson, Wyoming where tent sites and cabins sit directly along the Snake River. The layout gives tent campers the better end of the deal. Sites closest to the water tend to occupy the most coveted ground, while RV and trailer spots are packed tightly together, with multiple reviewers noting that the sites feel cramped enough to reach out and touch a neighboring rig.

The campground includes drinking water, electric hookups, showers, restrooms, WiFi, picnic tables, and fire rings. Bathrooms and showers are described as adequate rather than exceptional. Staff consistently receive positive mentions for helpfulness and willingness to accommodate special requests. A lively atmosphere with families and kids is part of the experience here, not a quiet retreat from crowds.

Pricing runs high for the region. At roughly $115 per night for trailer sites, this campground reflects the premium that comes with a Jackson-area address. Those looking for a lower-cost alternative might consider S Fall Creek Road Dispersed to the southwest, which provides free dispersed camping in the Bridger-Teton area. Nearby, Jackson Hole/Snake River Park KOA offers another established option for comparison. Reservations are available and recommended, particularly in September when the campground sees steady use from fall visitors.

Beautiful tent sites along the river

I loved the gorgeous river setting, and the fact that the tent sites seemed to be situated in prime spots along the river and creek. Great atmosphere with lots of kids running around. I had a few special requests and staff were extremely accommodating.

Trailer site

Trailer camping here is very cramped. Leaves little to be desired. Cabins looked nice and campsites are available along the Snake River. Showers and bathrooms were adequate. Since it’s near Jackson Hole it over priced. $115 a night. Ouch! People were nice.

What a great place outside of Jackson. Quiet and cozy cabins. RV sires and Ana big tent sites on the Snake River.

Great amenities squeezed too close together

While the staff was great, the river was peaceful, the cramped RV sites are too close for comfort. There are many great amenities, however when you can reach out and touch your neighbors, it dampens the experience. As much as I liked the whole community, I will not return. I don’t like feeling like I’m in a parking lot.
