Favorite Place We’ve Stayed Yet!

Family owned and operated by a phenomenal manager. This charming, beautiful, and quiet park is the favorite place we’ve yet stayed in over a year on the road. The park is convenient both to the Wind River and Gros Ventre mountains and Jackson Hole even as it’s far enough out of the way to be peaceful and quiet.

Perhaps the strongest endorsement we can give is that we extended our stay two different times as we wanted to spend as long as we could in this wonderful place.

The spots themselves are simple but are more than enough for the sort of people this park will attract. Other reviewers on here with negative things to say about a gravel pad should stay out of Wyoming.

Nearby attractions include, of course, endless options for hiking and fishing and off-roading and general adventuring but even right at the park there is plenty to explore including short walks and a resident heard of horses (not to mention more antelope than you’ve ever seen).

Special note and thanks for the park’s management who went above and beyond throughout the stay from arranging and incredible birthday adventure for our toddler to dropping packages off at our site. This team truly goes above and beyond and sets a new bar for parks.

If you want a beautiful experience in nature with a warm, friendly staff and community, this is the place for you! Can’t recommend it strongly enough!!

We’d certainly Stay again .

Right on the path but good distance from towns… Really like the campsite the owners and the amenities all top notch! Propane fill station, ICE a little store. Easy drive to pinedale or Jackson hole. And you can rest assured while you’re out that their hookups will keep your camper running.

Peace and quiet

Loved staying at this quiet 12 spot RV park. It’s right off 189 and there’s not much else around except miles of hiking in the Bridger-Teton National Forest. Great place to stop over for the night or spend a few days exploring the surrounding forest or horseback riding. There’s a sweet 22ft airstream sport and a cabin you can rent if you don’t have your own RV and I can’t say enough how nice the owners are! All hookups are new and spots are level gravel.

Great find!

All campsites filled from Jackson to Rock Springs and happen to pass by this place noting a few empty RV slots left! Gent in the store/office was very pleasant and helpful. Price was right and only 12 camp sites so no great humanity to deal with. A little road noise (US 191) till dark and then silence! Abuts Bridger-Teton National Forest so plenty roaming you be had. Perfect!

Friendly Owners

Firstly, this campground has new owners and they are committed to making your stay an incredible experience, I really mean that. They did not pay me for this review at all and I received no compensation whatsoever for this review. ALL past reviews dated before June of 2020 for this campground are for the previous owners. So, if you do not believe this review, contact the owners and they have my email and I would be happy to vouch for the authenticity of this review.

We were campers that were simply passing through on our way home to Minnesota a couple weeks ago from Yellowstone & the Tetons NPs. We simply needed a place to stay after a full day of driving.

Not only did you open your doors after hours to help us when our grandson re-injured his sprained ankle, you gave us a big bag of ice free of charge and you also gave us a bandage to wrap his ankle with free of charge and said that if he needs anything to eat like a candy bar or something, please stop by for one free of charge. This all happened after hours I might add. I have camped my entire life and have stayed in hotels costing hundreds of dollars per night, and I have never been treated as warmly and important as you treated me. I would have gladly paid twice what you charged if you took credit for how well you treat your guests. I guess for me, that is why I feel so moved to write to thank you for the most unbelievable camping experience of my life,  In fact, our stay at your campsite was a true highlight of our trip. I have never been treated with  better customer service in my whole life. I am a 35 year Best Buy Company veteran and I know what good customer service is all about.  You have it nailed. Please don't ever change your warm way of treating people. I was totally blown away by this experience. You actually put “Minnesota Nice” people to shame in how well we were treated.

The owners were unbelievably customer friendly to us from the moment we walked into the office. They guided us to our site and helped me to back up my 40 foot motor coach into our site. The hookups were all brand new. I have never hooked up to a site that was as brand new/and convenient as yours. There were even built-in lights where the hookups were. Nice touch.

You also said that we could rest, unwind and explore your property, which we did and it is beyond pretty and scenic You have an incredibly beautiful property. One piece of advice from a business perspective...If you offered horse rides on your property you could make your campground a true destination. :-) That's probably already part of your plans if I know how to read people. :-)

Needless to say we WILL be staying at your campgrounds any and every time we travel west, which is typically at least once every year or two, since that is what my wife and I love most about the US. We love the mountains and all parts west  of Minnesota. We will camp there whenever it is convenient for our travels.
