    All alone and loved it

Yes, there were mosquitoes, cows, and a bit of green water, but it was very peaceful and beautiful. Whenever the options are a crowded and powered RV campsite versus a peaceful boondock such as this, we opt for the latter. Hope you enjoy it.

    OK Camp ground

Just arrived at the camp site, not to big, the sites have shadow from trees (not all). Restrooms are not really clean, water of the pool seems to be a bit dirty. Next to paid activities there are some stuff kids can do for free.

    Nice small campground

Very tight to maneuver car or suv, host was meh and rude. Stayed the weekend of July 4th 2021. It was a nice stay, bear lake was about a 10-15 mile drive.

Perfect stay for me on a long trek

I only stayed here one night, but it had everything I needed. Kind, attentive hosts, squeaky clean restroom including showers, a small, fenced in area for dogs to be off leash, and plenty of space between campers. There are cabins there as well as tent areas.

Great place to stop for the night

All the basics are here! Spotless bathrooms inc showers. Little but completely fenced dog area. Heated pool (in season). Wifi. Just about a mile S of I-80. Extremely nice manager. Very little shade and it's Wyoming, so "breezy"😉 $40+tax for power and water. (I'm not sure if there's an extra charge for sewer since my tiny camper isn't so equipped and my site doesn't hv it available.)

Nice KOA, just missing a couple minor items

Overall, a very nice KOA. Picnic tables are all new and maintained, new fire rings. I stayed in tent camping, and it was grassy and level.

Lots of drive thru spots for electric and hookups.

The staff greeted me warmly. The office was clean and maintained.

Bathrooms were clean, but a tad dated. But they were servicable, smelled clean.

Pool was being repaired at the beginning of .e.orial Day weekend. A bit of a bummer. Also, there waa no firewood that I saw for sale.

The grounds were about half full.

The other slight downside was I-80 noise. I made a video so you can hear the noise. Its about 1 mile away.

    I would stay here again!

    Sunrise Campground

    A beaYURTiful place

This was the first time that we stayed in a yurt, and it is a game changer.  It is honestly so nice once in a while to not have to put up camp or break camp.  For a nice, glamping getaway this is the place to be.  The grounds are beautiful, the host is kind, it is so quiet, and there was a lot of wildlife.  I recommend it for those who don't want to miss the comforts that they have at home, or just for those of us who tent camp and want to make is even more special once in a while.

Great alternative to camping in town

Loved the peacefulness of this campground.

Way fewer people and way more remote than in town camping. Each campsite has a fire pit and a picnic table. There’s our bathroom area as well as water access. Loved how wooded and private it seemed. Short drive into town or access water.

In my opinion, the drive is worth it as this is way more peaceful than any area campground.

    Tons of activities

Close to Bear Lake Marina and rentals and tons of great activities. Cabins, tiny homes, a variety of camper and campsites. Activities range from basketball, pickle ball, bounce area, mini golf, shuffle board, sand volleyball, and a pool as well as hot tub. Great bathrooms/wash house.

Cons: very busy but you can almost always expect that with a KOA.

    Sunrise Campground

    Cozy and comfortable

Sunrise Campground sites are immersed in trees to give you a surrounding cozy and comfortable feeling. Back in sites include a fire ring and sturdy picnic table... Not sure about the pull-thru sites.

For site 15, the sunrise peeked thru the trees into my tent. As I got going, I walked around the park to find a rest area only 0. 5 miles from my campsite (great if you need flushing toilets, running water and a beautiful view of Bear Lake).

Looking forward to a return visit to this campground!

Beautifully developed site with all you need

We love this campground! There are a variety of ways to camp here, tent, RV, cabins and the set up allows for privacy. It really feels like a resort. There is an amazing playground for kids, swimming pool, and jumping pillow.

The area is stunningly beautiful and relaxed. The store next to the entrance is amazingly well stocked with all you’d need.

We stayed in an RV supersite that included a private hot tub and BBQ grill.

    Conestoga Ranch

    Total Glamping experience

Conestoga Ranch is a destination that gives luxury a down home feel.

Located in Garden City, Utah on the beautiful Bear Lake Conestoga Ranch offers luxury tents and a chance to stay in a covered wagon.

I stayed in a larger, more luxurious site because my wife and I were on our Anniversary weekend.

The tent had a king bed, shower, and deep claw foot tub. The decor is charmingly rustic with log furnishings and tin and raw pipe for plumbing and accessories, this is all intentional and makes the experience even better.

Onsite, there are clean shower rooms and rest rooms, laundry facilities, an arcade, and a very fine restaurant and lounge.

Upon check in, you park by the office and a attendant takes you and your gear up to your site, later on a fire concierge will come and start your fire as you relax and take in all the beauty around you.

Bear Lake offers so much opportunity for recreation, from boating, to side x side rentals to beaches, mountain biking and some shopping.

This luxury comes at a price...a pretty steep price for camping, rates vary, but staying before memorial day gave us the better rate.

I do think that the price is worth the wonderful experiences that we had at this fun little place.

    Have a great time.

Rendezvous Beach — Bear Lake State Park

    Great for a beach trip

While the sites are uninspiring with very few shade trees, the beach is right there, the sand is nice, and one can wade out quite far in the water to lounge all day. The hosts were super--they went out of their way to go get us firewood in their golf cart as we weren't able to do this with just our motorcycles available.

The one dig on this which isn't reported elsewhere is that this thing is downwind from a cow pasture, and boy do you know it during the height of the day when its warm and the breeze is filling your nostrils with that fresh dairy smell. Again, get down to the beachfront and stay there.

    Busy, not private but clean

I had never been to a KOA campground before but we were driving cross country and were tired. For $43 for a tent site we got a nice patch of grass and a fire pit. It’s clean and comfortable, but definitely a busy place. You are right next to your neighbor but they do try and put you in every-other site for space. Great bathroom facilities, dog park, amenities.

It really depends on what you like. We are tent campers that like forest service campgrounds so this is too busy for us. But a nice spot.
