    Conestoga Ranch

    Total Glamping experience

Conestoga Ranch is a destination that gives luxury a down home feel.

Located in Garden City, Utah on the beautiful Bear Lake Conestoga Ranch offers luxury tents and a chance to stay in a covered wagon.

I stayed in a larger, more luxurious site because my wife and I were on our Anniversary weekend.

The tent had a king bed, shower, and deep claw foot tub. The decor is charmingly rustic with log furnishings and tin and raw pipe for plumbing and accessories, this is all intentional and makes the experience even better.

Onsite, there are clean shower rooms and rest rooms, laundry facilities, an arcade, and a very fine restaurant and lounge.

Upon check in, you park by the office and a attendant takes you and your gear up to your site, later on a fire concierge will come and start your fire as you relax and take in all the beauty around you.

Bear Lake offers so much opportunity for recreation, from boating, to side x side rentals to beaches, mountain biking and some shopping.

This luxury comes at a price...a pretty steep price for camping, rates vary, but staying before memorial day gave us the better rate.

I do think that the price is worth the wonderful experiences that we had at this fun little place.

    Have a great time.

Rendezvous Beach — Bear Lake State Park

A bit dry and windy, but not a bad place to stay

We camped for three days here. The restroom was very clean (for a campground), although the stall door needed some repair. The paper towels were well-stocked, and the trash emptied daily. The fire pits are pretty solid and include a built-in grill. The area was free of litter. There was a golden eagle nest above us where eagles were flying to and from; this was quite the sight to see! If you want to camp at Bear Lake, this is a good spot. Electricity and water hookups are included at each campsite for those of you with RVs.

    Viva Naughton Marina by PacifiCorp

    Excellent fishing!

This campground is located along the bank of the Viva Naughon Resivoir. There are about 8 sites with picnic tables and fire pits, but is pretty primitive. There are vault toilets available near the boat ramp. The campground is FREE!

The fly fishing is excellent below the dam, which is about a 3/4 mile drive from the campground. The area is very popular with boaters and anglers alike. This place stays busy year round and ice fishing is very popular in the winter months.

I frequent this area often. I'm blessed to live 15 minutes from this great area in the town of Kemmerer.

Great place to stop for the night

All the basics are here! Spotless bathrooms inc showers. Little but completely fenced dog area. Heated pool (in season). Wifi. Just about a mile S of I-80. Extremely nice manager. Very little shade and it's Wyoming, so "breezy"😉 $40+tax for power and water. (I'm not sure if there's an extra charge for sewer since my tiny camper isn't so equipped and my site doesn't hv it available.)

    Bear Lake/Marina Side KOA Holiday

Beautifully developed site with all you need

We love this campground! There are a variety of ways to camp here, tent, RV, cabins and the set up allows for privacy. It really feels like a resort. There is an amazing playground for kids, swimming pool, and jumping pillow.

The area is stunningly beautiful and relaxed. The store next to the entrance is amazingly well stocked with all you’d need.

We stayed in an RV supersite that included a private hot tub and BBQ grill.

    Sunrise Campground

    Cozy and comfortable

Sunrise Campground sites are immersed in trees to give you a surrounding cozy and comfortable feeling. Back in sites include a fire ring and sturdy picnic table... Not sure about the pull-thru sites.

For site 15, the sunrise peeked thru the trees into my tent. As I got going, I walked around the park to find a rest area only 0. 5 miles from my campsite (great if you need flushing toilets, running water and a beautiful view of Bear Lake).

Looking forward to a return visit to this campground!

    Bear Lake/Marina Side KOA Holiday

    Busy, not private but clean

I had never been to a KOA campground before but we were driving cross country and were tired. For $43 for a tent site we got a nice patch of grass and a fire pit. It’s clean and comfortable, but definitely a busy place. You are right next to your neighbor but they do try and put you in every-other site for space. Great bathroom facilities, dog park, amenities.

It really depends on what you like. We are tent campers that like forest service campgrounds so this is too busy for us. But a nice spot.

    Sunrise Campground

Great alternative to camping in town

Loved the peacefulness of this campground.

Way fewer people and way more remote than in town camping. Each campsite has a fire pit and a picnic table. There’s our bathroom area as well as water access. Loved how wooded and private it seemed. Short drive into town or access water.

In my opinion, the drive is worth it as this is way more peaceful than any area campground.
