Within Guernsey Reservoir State Park, Lower Spotted Tail provides an established camping option with accommodations for RVs up to 40 feet. The state-managed campground charges $10 per night and allows both campfires and pets. Standard amenities include picnic tables, and the facility meets ADA accessibility requirements.

A harmful cyanobacteria bloom (HCB) recreational use BLOOM ADVISORY has been issued for GUERNSEY RESERVOIR as of 6/19/26. Go to deq.wyoming.gov for more info. Avoid contact with water in the vicinity of the bloom If people, pets, or livestock come into contact with a bloom, rinse off with clean water as soon as possible and contact a doctor or veterinarian.
As of 3/23/26, a fire restriction is in effect. Wood fires are not permitted at all. Propane and gas grills are permitted. Charcoal grills must be equipped with a lid. Check each park's Facebook page for more info!
All boat ramps are unavailable because the summer season has ended. Water systems will be closed on September 30th for the winter. Fish Canyon water is closed as of 9/1/26 due to repairs.
