Easy access from highway

Good showers. Helpful and friendly staff. We got last available site because it was Longmire Days in Buffalo. Decent site although hookups needed some attention. Needed about 25’ of hoses to get to water hookup. Quiet at night. Level sites.

Accessibility

The gravel drive and lots are compacted and easy to maneuver with an electric wheelchair. I think a manual could do it as well. Shower and toilets are not accessible unless you can stand and walk short distances. Washer and driers are accessible but the main door into the office has a2” lip that can stop you if you’re not at speed. Great feeling to the overall area. Right by freeway so some noise but trees help.

Last minute reservation with good service

We came in and got a last minute tent site on Memorial Day weekend and were treated very well with good recommendations for ice cream and willingness to help us out when we realized we left things at home. Our spot was a beautiful little tent spot right along the creek.

Very Good Campground

Very nice campground layout is really nice. No confusing one ways . The bathrooms and showers are in the main building up front along with excellent washer and dryers . There is also a bathroom and shower building in the rear of the property close to row H and next to the little cabins. Only one problem I had was the pool was not open. management said it is about to be resurfaced.

Awesome site, little bit of road noise

Small, clean campground. We had a site right next to hwy 90 so we had so e road noise but we loved our site otherwise. Large shade trees and large grassy area made it ideal for our 2 dogs. Site was pretty level and hookups were good. Laundry open 24 hrs. Bathrooms clean. Employees all very friendly.

Great Location and Well Kept Facilities

We stopped here without a reservation in October and we were able to find a space, I don't think it would be the same in the summer and you probably want a reservation.  They provide AAA, Good Sams and Military discounts.  The staff is very friendly, they have a very clean and nice laundry, market and lots of information about the town of Buffalo and surrounding.   it is less than a mile to town and we walked and also biked to town,   Right across the street is the creek trail that is very peaceful and a quicker way to town.  There is a picnic table and full hook ups.   Fires were not allowed while we were there because of high risk.   There are lots of places to eat that you can walk to and they sell propane at a reasonable price.

Great stop over

Stayed here for one night with our trailer. They definitely squeeze you in and while there’s shade from a lot of trees, you’re really close to your neighbor. Didn’t use any facilities, but it looked clean and the pool was busy. Doesn’t feel like you’re right off the highway because of all the trees, so that was nice!

Clean living

The entrance is next to a restaurant, just off the interstate. The whole park is super clean. Check-in, the store, laundromat and bathrooms are all in the one building. The bathroom is a little dated and the showers small (see video) There is a little road noise, but it didn't bother us. It really is a pretty little park. Not busy the first of May when we were here. Pro tip: don't just fly through Buffalo. Go downtown. See the Occidental Hotel inside. A must. Also, if you are a Longmire fan, this is where the author is from and there is an entire store of all things Longmire.

Great little mom and pop

Nice campground very close to I-90. It's clean and skoolie friendly. Would give a five except for closeness to I-90 and the showers are small for modern americans.

Great overnight stay

Great place to overnight in Buffalo. Friendly, helpful staff. Clean grounds, didn’t use any other facilities. Close to road so traffic might bother some—didn’t us.

Everyone was so friendly and welcoming! It was a great place for family. Nice heated pool. Pretty quiet but the highway is close. Very nice restaurant across the street. Super clean and nice bathrooms with electricity.

Not bad for in town camping

We had a tent site along the creek. There were plenty of tent spaces the weekend in mid July when we were there, but the camper sites were booked. The couple who runs the campground were so nice and accommodating. I was in Buffalo for my son's regional baseball tournament and didn't know how many days I would need to book. They let me keep my tent pitched until I knew we would need the extra day way beyond check out time.

The Bighorn Mountains are spectacular! The camp host provided us with maps and trails. The drive on highway 16 from Buffalo to Ten Sleep is amazing and worth getting off the beaten path and Interstate.

This campground has clean showers that are free and coin laundry.
