Awesome!

Really like the layout of this CG, it’s spacious and scenic. There are toilets but we used our trailer, so I can’t report on them. The reservoir is pretty (was really low when we went) and close to all of the sites. There is a playground and a dog park.

Great stop over

Stayed here for one night with our trailer. They definitely squeeze you in and while there’s shade from a lot of trees, you’re really close to your neighbor. Didn’t use any facilities, but it looked clean and the pool was busy. Doesn’t feel like you’re right off the highway because of all the trees, so that was nice!

Awesome view

Beautiful views and super quiet. Close to Grand Teton, which was why we stayed. The lake is so stunning! Super domesticated deer strolled through the campsite around dinner time. Beach access and 23 (I think) sites to choose from. Arrived around 4pm on a Tuesday and it was 90% full.

Stunning, must stop

Absolutely beautiful. Arrived after a rain storm, bugs weren’t bad. Walked around lake and it was beautiful. So quiet and peaceful. Wish we stayed more nights! Dumpsters, restrooms, fire rings and nice grass. You gotta stay here!

Perfect to explore Crater Lake

We have a trailer and we parked on the blacktop. We didn’t know there were accessible spots down the road but we explored them on our walk. A few other car campers showed up then a big motor home showed up later.

No complaints, it was great!

Beautiful, secluded spot

We were near where the coordinates take you and we didn’t see another person the entire time we were here! We saw a few fellow campers on our way in but felt really secluded when we found our spot. Expected to see more obvious pull in spots for camping but we did not, so you might have to go a ways in. All the obvious camping spots close to the highway were taken when we got here on Friday afternoon. Some soft gravel, soft sand and rough roads but we managed in our truck + trailer. Weather was beautiful with afternoon storms which we loved. Would absolutely come back!

Amazing, will return!

Easy to find, seemed highly organized and worth the $20/night. There weren’t a ton of people out there when we were there but we could sometimes hear other campers which was fine. We never had neighbors on either side of us, everyone was pretty spread out. There are some great hiking and mountain biking trail networks surrounding the campsite. We didn’t have any kids with us but other campers did and the campsite is super kid friendly. End of June is super hot there so during the day we took quick day trips to Canyonlands and Deadhorse national parks which was a great way to spend the hottest part of the days. The evenings and nights are so pretty here. Will absolutely be back!

Amazing nights!

Easy to find and extremely scenic. Lots of open spots, just had to find one big enough for our trailer. Saw a lot of tent campers. Stayed two nights total. The nights are amazing here! Incredible star gazing and the wind dies down. During the day in July it’s hot and windy, so much that it’s hard to do anything. Sunset is beautiful and worth it.

Wish we could stay longer!

This spot is amazing! There were plenty of options when we drove up the road. We can see one other camper from our spot but we didn’t really hear anyone overnight. We did notice some trash around and will pick up what’s around us before we leave. If we lived closer we’d be out here all the time!

Beautiful spot!

Easy to find, we picked a spot off to the right of Mexican Hat Rock Rd, right at the base of Mexican Hat. Explored more spots accessible via 4WD only on our bikes. We got to our spot with a small camper trailer and we saw a few other cars who found other spots you could get to without 4WD. Really fun to explore on a bike!
