Description
High in Teton National Forest above Jackson at roughly 7,600 feet, this meadow-set dispersed area delivers one of the more memorable Teton panoramas in the region — wide open, unobstructed, and positioned to catch both sunrise cloudscapes and evening alpenglow. Rangers patrol the corridor regularly and have designated fire rings at most of the roughly 20 numbered sites. Curtis Canyon Road is rough and can turn muddy in wet conditions, so high-clearance and 4WD are worthwhile; a 5-day stay limit applies and pack-in/pack-out is the rule.
