Curtis Canyon Campsites 1-4

Within Teton National Forest, Curtis Canyon Campsites 1-4 provides dispersed camping accessed by a long, bumpy road that takes about 30 minutes to reach but remains passable for two-wheel-drive vehicles. The four sites cluster together in a loop configuration, with site 1 reserved for a host and sites 2-4 positioned in close proximity to each other. Large groups benefit from this layout, though individual campers may find themselves camping near others.

Verizon cell service proves spotty throughout the sites, though campers can pick up decent signal by moving to areas with valley views. The access road offers multiple pulloffs with valley overlooks, as the sites themselves lack direct views. Flies can be problematic, while deer frequently visit at dusk and show little fear of humans.

Cramped and bad road

Site 1 is reversed for a " host". I have no idea what that means in a dispersed campground other than you cant ever stay there. Sites 2 3 and 4 are all in very close proximity in a loop. If uou are a large group this would be really nice. If you arent then you will be right on top of othet people. Verizon cellphone is spotty. If you can get to the edge and see the valley you can get decent signal. Thw road up here is very long and bumpy. About 30ish minutes but it is 2wd accessible, but get much rougher if you go past spot 4. The views are postcard worthy and the best part about coming up here. However sites 1-4 dont have great views from the sites themselves but plenty of pull offs on the way up. The flies are insane back here. Be ready to deal with them. However deer are very tame up here and you will probally be visitied at dusk.
