Great County campground

We stayed in sight number nine which is right on Lake. Good fishing in lake for walleye. Campground is clean and has showers. Although I will say it was very crowded with some noisy campers. Some obvious drinking activity going on. Overall I would return and hope to next year.

Very Clean

We rode our boat across the lake from the east side so the kiddos could play in the water (depending on the winds the algae gets bad on one side or the other)... of course that’s when my kiddo has to go... very clean facilities... clean park... peaceful vibes

Affordable with Lake Access

This is a very nice campground for those that don't require resort like amenities.  Some sites will come with electric  though most are rustic.  Some sites with electric can be found with lake access.  Plenty of space between sites.  Very quiet campground with a play area, beaches and other nice features.  You can buy wood and some supplies but be sure bring what you need as it is a drive into town to get whatever you may have forgotten.  Lake is very large and great opportunity to bring your boat, jetski, kayaks and SUP.  We would visit again.

Great Lake Camping

A great campground with out of this world lake views. Most sites come with amazing lake views. Great for watching the sun rise up over the lake. Great swimming, fishing and playing. Facilities are some of the best anywhere. Plus paddle and boat on Wisconsin's second largest lake. Lots to do in the area too. Take a Auto Tour at nearby Sandhill State Wildlife Area. Get out and explore nearby Necedah National Wildlife Refuge and its world class visitor center. Perhaps catch a glimpse of the rare and endangered whooping crane. Into rock climbing, nearby Petenwell Rock provides some of the best climbing in the state.
