Our site was S10 which has its pros and cons it is a full hook-up site this section of the campground is fairly new so there is a few in mature trees so there is not much for shade as we walked around the campground we found some full hookup sites that would be great in the wooded area so there would be plenty of shade and it's next to the swimming pond. The 9-hole golf course was nice I just wish I would have remembered my clubs. Like most campgrounds on the weekends it's full during the weekdays pretty well emptied out we arrived on Thursday we had the adult pool to ourselves which is great. The only thing I notice is if you have kids it's too bad they didn't have more things for the kids to climb on in the pond I have a few kayaks and paddle boards. We did enjoy the campground and we will be planning to return
Made it back and was actually a bit disappointed. The park is way over crowded compared to what it use to be and a bit more pricey. Only be back since this is where the family has the reunion. They are not very responsive to phone calls either
Getting ready to go over there this weekend we've been to this Campground many times in the past before it's grown into what it is today we used to have family reunions at this Campground we stopped doing family reunions there once they started growing and they started jacking up their prices they added the hotel with indoor water park along with condos and wave pools. So there is still plenty of things to do here and we're curious to see what changes have been made
This Campground is pretty nice there's things to do for the kids it is clean because it was just started up I believe in 2018. So right now at your campsite there are no mature trees for shade. It is a small Campground which is nice cuz it's not too busy and loud. They have a train that comes through every hour during the day to pick you up and take you to the next door amusement park which was a lot of fun we spent the entire day there. And the amusement park itself was not too expensive so it was enjoyable for the whole family
Plenty of things to do here to keep the kids engaged and busy very clean Campground the campsites are well-kept swimming Pond was clean and plenty of fun things to climb on and slide down. We will definitely return to this Campground
This is a very well kept and very clean Campground they have activities all the time recording one where they hide painted Stones around the campground and if you find The Rock they have prizes such as free night. So it's really fun when you're rocking around the Campground you're always on the look for something. All the roads are Blacktop so you don't have gravel dust and the sites are very nice including cement pads and some locations. This is one of our top picks for Wisconsin campgrounds. Our campsite was great we had plenty of space and being on the end we only had one camper next to us which was about 20 yards away a little further. I have plenty of amenities such as a paintball field tent sites are super nice and the cabins are very well kept as well
We have camped here twice once in the fall once in the summer during the summer they provide at no charge kayaks and a shuttle to a drop-off point which you can kayak back down to the campground which takes about an hour and a half they space out the shuttles very well so you are not running into the people from the last shuttle. We go for the kayaking and if you have a second vehicle you can continue on down river another eight miles which is approximately six hours to the next point that you can get out at. The campsite we stay at is Water and Electric and it's right along the river when you pull in to set up camp you'll be facing the water which is nice you're not staring at neighbors campers
Depending on what you're looking for obviously during the week like most campgrounds very peaceful and quiet lots of places to hike and kayak depending on what kind of camping you're doing RV travel trailer tent camping I found my campsites pretty nice mostly campsites are surrounded by woods so you don't see your neighbors as much as you would at a standard Campground. Only have camped here in the fall so I am not sure what a summer camping trip would be like there but overall it is a very nice place to visit
First time here. We were very happy we camped here. Camp surrounds a lake which you can find activities galore on one side of the camp and peace and quiet on the other side with plenty of campsites near the water. There are plenty things to do for kids they have quite a few little playgrounds all around the campground along with their indoor and outdoor swimming pools they don't allow golf carts or anything motorized which keeps the campground quiet and pleasant all the time and restroom and shower facilities super clean all the time. Along with them looking brand new. We fell in love with this camp and will be back for sure. (Already booked for next year)
